Who we areIIIT Bangalore
The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, a Deemed University, popularly known as IIITB, was established in 1999 with a vision to contribute to the IT world by focusing on education and research, entrepreneurship and innovation. The Institute is a registered not-for-profit society funded jointly by the Government of Karnataka and the IT industry.
Since its inception, IIITB, with its unique model of education, research, and industry interaction, has grown in stature to become an institution of considerable repute in academic as well as corporate circles. The Institute works in partnership with the corporate sector, while retaining the freedom of an academic institution. It is inspired by other renowned institutions, and also strives to emulate an academic culture that is on par with the best international institutions.

Gyanome Foundation
Gyanome is a non-profit organization aimed at creating a platform for teaching the fundamentals of school maths and science to all the children of India.
Gyanome aims to fill the gap in the education system, particularly focusing on children in the public education system and in the rural areas.
The shortage of teachers and the language challenges remain a big obstacle in achieving proficiency in academics, particularly in the areas of science and maths. Meaningful use of technology in the classroom provides a great opportunity to tackle these problems.
Founded by Prof. Sujatha Ramdorai and Prof. Rajesh Kasturirangan, both world renowned, award winning academicians

Professor Sadagopan is currently the Director (President) of IIIT-Bangalore (a PhD granting University)

Dr. Ramdorai (or Sujatha, as she prefers to be known) is a versatile, creative and technically powerful mathematician. She is awarded the Krieger-Nelson Prize for her work that covers a broad range of subjects, including motives, K-theory and arithmetic geometry.

He is the Trustee of Gyanome and a national resource person of NCSTC math communicators, with over 800 workshops over 45 years and 32 books to his credit. Well known for his connect with rural children with his versatility as an illustrator, math toys maker, maths instruments designer, maths modelling, origami, kirigami etc.
